Applications and industries include; tank ventilation, container aeration, carbon dioxide, pharmaceutical, chemical, fermentation air, technical gases, health care and biotech, aseptic packaging, compressed air, highly concentrated acids, complexing agents, chlorinated and fluo industries.
The models available include the following five series. The P-SRF C series of pleated sterile depth filters is suitable for the safe and sterile filtra¬tion of compressed air and other process gases. The P-SRF V series is for safe and sterile filtration of air and other process gases in venting applications. P-SRF X series is for extreme sterile filtration. P-SRF series is for filtration of compressed air, process air, technical gases and vent applications. Finally, the PT N series is for the greatest assurance of filtration performance and stability against chemicals and other contaminates in critical conditions.

- Developed for the sterile filtration of air and gases in compressed air applications
- High retention rate (bacteria, viruses and particles) down to 3 nm (nanometres) to ensure product and process integrity

- Developed for the sterile filtration of air and gases in venting applications in which CIP reagents are applied
- High retention rate (bacteria, viruses and particles) down to 3 nm (nanometres) to ensure product and process integrity
- High temperature and mechanical resistance for outstanding performance, minimises production down time and maintenance costs
- Suitable for sterilisation, using VPHP and ozone – this leads to reduced total cost of ownership
P-SRF X Features:
- Developed for the sterile filtration of air and gases under extreme applications and sterilization conditions
- High retention rate (bacteria, viruses and particles) down to 3 nm (nanometers) to ensure product and process integrity
- High temperature and mechanical resistance for outstanding performance, minimises production down time and maintenance costs
- Suitable for sterilisation, using VPHP and ozone – this leads to reduced total cost of ownership
P-SRF Features:
- High-quality stainless-steel construction ensures excellent mechanical stability, thermal resistance up to 200°C (392°F)
- Proprietary three-dimensional binder-free borosilicate depth filter media
- Depth filter medium is non-fibre releasing and inherently hydrophobic
- Integrity testable according to HIMA* and validated retention of bacteria and viruses (*HIMA – Health Industry Manufacturers Association, known as AdvaMed).
PT N Features:
- Excellent material resistance towards aggressive contaminates
- Donaldson’s inherently hydrophobic Tetratex ePTFE membrane
- Sterile grade at 0.2 micron (HIMA/ASTM)
- Low pressure drop at high flow rates
